This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Anytune (“Application“) and the web service Anytune JAM (“Service”), that were created by Anytune Inc. (“Developer“). The Application is designed to enhance the use of your media files to learn, transcribe or practice either alone, as a student/teacher or as a group. The Service provides a web and Application interface to our license server allowing you to unlock functionality provided by the Application on your devices.

Apple’s Privacy Policy

User Provided Information

The Application has access to music collections that you authorize. This can include your device’s music library as well as tracks imported from other locations.

The Application stores information that you create for imported tracks to support its basic functions. You can share this data across your devices through Apple’s iCloud or by transferring a file.

The Developer undertakes to use your personal information for the purpose for which you provided it.

Anytune Inc will use the information you provide to learn about Anytune users’ helping us find new users like you and send you Emails that provide updates about the product, promote special offers and ask for your opinion and suggestions.

Automatically Collected Information

The Application may automatically collect certain information to help us maintain and improve the product.

• Crash and performance data: The Application may submit crash reports and performance information to help identify and resolve software problems.

• Support requests: When you send us an email support request from within the Application, your device’s hardware and software version may be included in the message along with recent error or informational logs generated by the Application.

• Device and usage data: The Application may collect anonymous and aggregate data about device type, operating system version, and general usage patterns. This information is used to improve the customer experience, determine which devices and OS versions to support, and guide product decisions. This data cannot be linked back to an individual user.

• External content: The Application may access third-party websites to display information to you. The Application does not transmit any personal information to these sites.

Advertising and Analytics

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

IP Addresses are not stored in our database.

Email addresses are stored in our support systems for the purposes of responding to inquiries and for keeping a history. We will not sell or share your email address or contact you about a matter unrelated to communications which were previously established by you through our support systems.

Your Google Account email address is stored in our system when making consumable purchases on Google Play for Anytune services. We comply to Google’s User Data Policies and do not share your personal information.

Your name and email address used to register with the Service are stored in our registration system and are used to provide access to capabilities provided by the Application including temporary access for evaluation purposes.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information for advertising purposes. In supported regions, our app will display a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” option through Google’s consent system.

If you choose to opt out, we will limit data use for advertising and serve only non-personalized ads.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavour provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
